An InMoov robotic arm was constructed and assembled by SALIENGI. The robotic arm parts were 3D printed using PLA material. Custom parts such as custom pulleys and a custom motor bed attachment for 9g servo motors were designed and constructed. A custom control code that offers manual control of individual fingers and an automated sequence of gestures was created by SALIENGI.
A custom servo motor bed attachment was designed and constructed. This allows the robotic arm to be powered by micro servomotors such as the 9g servo motor. A cable guide system was also designed and implemented as seen in the photo on the left. Custom pulleys were also designed. The pulleys designed allow for easy cable attachment, resetting and tensioning as the cables are fastened to the pulley by screws. A control box was also constructed. The control box has manual control knobs for individual finger control, a button to initiate the automatic sequence of gestures and an alarm system.
